Miss Priss
This has got to be one of my favorite layouts that I have done!! I just love all the little details - the key and lock, butterfly wings, crystal stick pin, and even a real postage stamp and playing card!! The paper is from a wonderful company called Collage Press. I ripped parts of the paper and put some pink paper behind it to give it more of a shabby chic look. I stamped the clocks with Heidi Swapp stamps and then then embossed them with different colors of Pearl Ex to give them a sheer shimmer. I painted some Tim Holtz grungeboard and covered it with glitter, pearl, and crackle paint. The layout was finished off by weaving lace and sequins around all the Prima flowers and adding rhinestones.
The title was cut using my Cricut and the Sure Cuts a Lot software. I love that software - it allows me to download free fonts from the internet and cut them with my Cricut!! I can even weld letters together in the software, like I did below. As a finishing touch, I covered the letters in Stickles to add more glitter to the page.

The Big Win
I just love fun and funky-ness of the Love, Elsie papers and embellishments! I am drawn to the music paper, ledger paper, and crossword puzzle paper!!! So here's a layout including all my favorites from Love, Elsie. The photos are from when I was the grand prize winner of the Creative Imaginations Pizzazzill contest. I did some 'fussy cutting' of the flowers and hand sewing as well.

Travel Memories
I used the wonderful Fiskars Cloud 9 embossed sparkly paper for this layout. I must say, it is the most expensive paper I have ever bought at $1.99 a sheet! I also used the coordinating travel stickers. I designed the people die cuts as well as the flourish journal boxes in Inkscape and imported them into my SCAL software to cut on my Cricut.

Back To Nature
I'm continuing to use up my stash of products....on this layout I used the Fiskars cardstock and flocked bird paper and Stampin Up tags and stamps. The transparency I printed myself and the bird was cut with my Cricut and SCAL software. I used stickles, pearls, and lace as accents to complete the layout.

Blue Skies & Water
I just love using lots of embellishments on layouts! For this one, I gathered a bunch of items that I had on hand, including a postage stamp, a real ticket, transparencies, pins, tags, and a blue heart fastener (by Fiskars). I threw in some magic mesh for texture and also a mini envelope and used some Stickles too. The photos are from Punta Cana.

3 Years Old!
I figure now that I have my daughter's 4 year old birthday photos, I should probably scrap the 3 year old ones, huh?? Once again, I'm going through my stash of old papers and embellishments and trying to make the best of them before they get any more out-of-date. The stickers are from Creative Memories. I used my new Martha Stewart punch on the borders.

Cool in the Pool
Anyone that knows me knows that I love to use up every last scrap from a kit. This is the remainder of a TLC kit that I had purchased from a friend that is a consultant. I used SC Sketch 129...I love how simple and refreshing this sketch is! The fun flourish was cut using my SCAL software and my Cricut.

Swinging From a Tree
I dug into my The Paper Element scraps and created this layout from 3 different lines...Hot Chocolate, Green Apple, and Tart. The natural lines on the Hot Chocolate paper look great for the trunk of the tree! I used a bunch of Creative Imaginations rub-ons and the SC131 sketch.

I designed this butterfly and the journal blocks using Inkscape and then I cut them with my Cricut using my SCAL software! These will be a fun addition to my scrapbook layouts!
