I'm so excited about the September kit at the Coconut ScrapShop, that I had to share some sneek peeks with you! These are the fabulous papers by Mollie and Mac! I've never worked with these papers before, so this will be a treat!

Horse Show LO

Another layout using the Frutis collection from The Paper Element. I really liked the rub-ons that come with this line. I cut some in half to use as photo corners. The photos are of the horse show we went to in Punta Cana.

Seriously Drenched LO

These photos are of our super fuzzy kitty taking her first bath about 10 years ago. She looks so small...kinda like a Gremlin, doesn't she?? I used the Orchard line from The Paper Element.

Brain Drain LO

I thought the colors of these papers would go good witht the Punta Cana sunrise photos. I couldn't think of a good title, as I've previously used all the "sunrise" titles I can think of...so I used one of The Paper Element's quirky stickers for the title!!

Pony Up LO

The papers and rub ons are from The Paper Element. The flourishes are made using a flourish template.

Life of the Party LO

This layout uses the Frutis Collection by The Paper Element. The title and subtitle both came from the quirky stickers that are part of this collection. The photo is of my friends and I at our 10 year HS reunion. Gasp, our 15 year reunion is next week!

timid girl? LO

Payton is always up for posing for photos, hence the title of this layout. This layout is made with the Orchard collection from The Paper Element.

Hot Tub LO

This was one of the last LO's I made with my scraps of paper from The Paper Element (I took my photos out of order, so there are many more LO's coming). I stamped the circle pattern on a transparency for some added design. The faceplate was made using my Cricut.

Doing Her Studies LO

This layout features the Orchard line by The Paper Element. I love their witty sayings on their stickers....this one says, "rocket scientist in training!" A very good caption for Payton, as she is my smarty-pants girl!!

Salty Ice Cream LO

I had to do a double pager to show the sequence of events in these photos. Payton ate her ice cream cone in the ocean and it accentially dunked into the water....but she didn't care!

The papers are from The Paper Element's Frutis line. I love how they all coordinate together so well. And did you know that on the peel off strip, The Paper Element lists all the coordinating Bazzill cardstocks?? Very cool.

Little Mommies Lo

Here's one last LO featuring the Coconut ScrapShop's August kit. I used up all my scraps on this one! I even snuck in some tickets and a plaque that were included in past kits!

The top photo is of Payton and the bottom photo is of me when I was little.

Four Friends LO

In this layout (featuring the Coconut ScrapShop's August kit), I used up some scraps, did some painting on the cardstock, and painted the Heidi Swapp gel flower. I also cut the Felt Fusion ribbon to make my own flourish.

The Music Box LO

The Coconut ScrapShop's August kit comes with two Hambly screen prints! If you look closely, I layered one on top of the other in the center of the layout. Antique isn't really my thing, so I had to take some photos of an old music box to help fit the theme of the screen prints. My dad gave my mom the music box before they were married and promised her that he would fill it up with jewelry throughout the years - isn't that sweet??

Dandelion Picking LO

These photos are of Payton picking dandelions in our backyard this spring. The papers are Rose Moka, with Felt Fusion ribbon, Heidi Swapp gel shapes, and buttons all from the August kit at the Coconut ScrapShop!!

Storyteller LO

This is another layout from the Coconut ScrapShop's August kit! It comes with the fabulous Felt Fusion ribbon, chipboard birds, cardstock lace.... It is a very fun kit to work with!

Spring Flowers LO

The papers and embellishments in the August kit from the Coconut ScrapShop are just amazing! They are so fun to work with and everything goes together so quickly!

A Cut Above LO

Lucky You

I whipped this layout up in just a few minutes by using some scraps....leftover rub-ons and scrap scalloped paper. I used the "direct to paper" technique to the edges of the white cardstock...a technique that I haven't used in a while. I then used my favorite Queen Kat Designs stamps to add the title, quote, and dandelions. It all tied together well with the photo of Payton blowing seeds off of a dandelion. I used the fun sketch over at Lesley Langdon Creative.

I've been playing hard with my new goodies from The Paper Element! This layout is made from the Orchard line.

I'm still working on the cheerleading kit from the Coconut ScrapShop! I made the title out of some rub-ons that were included in the kit. Looking for me? I'm the one kneeling in the front!
