Loving Liberty LO

Another layout from the July Coconut ScrapShop kit. This is Payton with her cousin (who was in the 4th of July parade). I stamped the star background with the stamp that was included in the kit. I also altered one page from the tabbed book that came with the kit to use as a frame for the photos. I used foam stamps and acrylic paint for the title.

Jump on the Bed LO

I'm back to showing you the layouts I made with the July Kit from the Coconut ScrapShop!!! The colors were easy to mix and match to create a layout for any theme.

Dandelion Dreams LO

This layout is from the Black Market Paper Society's "Letters From Paradise" collection and is on display at CHA! The colors are great and I love the journaling tags that match! I made the flower out of their paper using an old technique....I'll have a tutorial on how to make it later.

Wave Pool LO

This is one of the layouts that will be at CHA for the Black Market Paper Society! I love the colors in the "When the Weather is Fine" collection! I stamped the title with foam stamps and acrylic paint.

On display at CHA!!!!!

I'm so excited...I've got 15 layouts that will be displayed at CHA Chicago this weekend!!! They will be at the Black Market Paper Society booth and The Paper Element booth. I'll be unveiling the layouts that you haven't seen yet starting tomorrow!!

I really wish that I could have been able to attend CHA. It's so close...only a 2.5 hour drive....but I just couldn't snag a pass to get in.

If anyone is going to CHA, can you please take a photo of these two booths for me??

We Got Spririt LO

Cheerleading Memories LO

The Coconut ScrapShop just made a new cheerleading kit!!!! I was a cheerleader throughout high school for wrestling, girls and boys basketball, and football, so I have my share of cheerleading photos to scrap! Now these photos were taken over 15 years ago, so let's not laugh at my hair, shall we??

First Swings of Spring LO

I love the FAQ post-it that came with our Coconut July kit! There are several kinds in the store...for only 10 cents each!! I'm sure to stock up on them! These are photos of Payton finally going out to play on the swingset this spring after all the snow melted and it was above freezing!

Special Sunrise LO

I love the amber paper that is included in the July kit from the Coconut ScrapShop! I thought it would look perfect with the sunrise photos from Punta Cana. The die cut arrows and journal blocks that are included in the kit are so much fun to work with too! This layout is inspired by the sketch from Sketch This!

July 4, 2008 LO

After the 4th of July parade, we went to the local park where Payton got her face painted and we ate some over-priced hot dogs. Payton had a good time. This is made with the Scenic Route papers from the Coconut ScrapShop.

I am pleased to announce that altough my term with Coconut ScrapShop is due in August, I will be staying on as a designer for another 6 months!! Yeah, I'm so excited!

Manati Park Bird Show LO

These photos are from a bird show that we saw in Punta Cana. The birds were really cool, as they rode around in remote control cars, skateboards, bikes, and rollerblades! This layout is made from the July kit from Coconut ScrapShop!

American Spirit LO

These photos are hot off the press from this 4th of July. Every year we attend the hometown parade. This layout is made using the July kit and the add-on cardstock kit at the Coconut ScrapShop. I painted the letters, then stamped them with a star stamp in Versamark and heat embossed. Sketch is by So Sketchy.

Never too Cold for a Freezie Pop LO

Now that it's warm out, I can scrapbook my winter photos! This is Payton eating a freezie pop in a snowstorm this past winter. This layout is made with the July kit from the Coconut ScrapShop. The kit comes with an alterable mini book, but I decided to use the tabbed book pages in my layout instead. I highly recommend getting the cardstock add-on for this kit, as it is only a few dollars and will help you produce several more layouts.

This Girl Can Snorkel LO

The July kit from the Coconut ScrapShop is here!!! It has a 4th of July theme to it, but since I didn't get a whole lot of good Independence Day photos yesterday, I'll be using it in creative ways to apply it to all different themes. The kit consists of many double sided papers and die cuts from Scenic Route and some Heidi Swapp chipboard letters. I love the ric rac that comes with it too!

In this layout, I wanted to journal about Payton's first snorkeling trip. We went on a snorkeling boat to a reef in Jamaica this past May. Payton did such a good job with her flippers and breathing through the snorkel! The only problem we had was that her face was too small for the smallest goggles we could find, so it leaked stingy, salty water into her eyes. But she still stuck her face in the water to get a look at the reef.

All Dressed Up and Nowhere to Go LO

Yup, this is my 10th layout that I designed with my Paper Element goodies. I always like to use up my scraps, and that's what I did with this layout. Payton is all dressed up in her Easter dress here.

Spread Your Wings LO

Payton really liked this layout from the Sugar line of The Paper Element. She said, "Mom, you turned me into a butterfly!!!"

This layout is probably the heaviest one I've ever made...with the chipboard butterflies and the metal flower. I made my own ticket and barcode using the Cricut and some stamps.
