From Icicles to Island (in three days!) LO
I wanted to do a split layout of a photo taken right before we left on vacation and then one when we got to vacation to really show the difference in climate. It was difficult to find paper and embellies that flowed well from a winter scene to a summer one. (And yes, that is a huge icicle that Payton is licking.)

iCousins LO
Payton and Danielle are the only girl cousins in our family (there are 5 boy cousins too). Here, the girls are listening to Danielle's iPod, so that's why I titled it "iCousins." This LO is done using the sketch from Pamseclecticstuff. I used some coordinating shimmery paper that came with a post-bound scrapbook that I got a while ago. I realized that I haven't used wire in a while, so I got it out to make the flourishes.

I am so excited to announce that I have been chosen to be on the original design team for the Coconut ScrapShop!!! Whooooo Hooooo!!! The Coconut ScrapShop is a new and growing company that specializes in beautiful coordinated scrapbooking kits. They also have a well-stocked online store with products from all the "big name" manufacturers in scrapbooking. They even have the NEW CHA products!!!! How cool is that?
The Coconut ScrapShop also has a new blog that is up and running. Stop by and give 'em some love!
The Coconut ScrapShop is a truely a perfect fit for me! The kits are AWESOME....totally my taste! I can't wait to get my first kit and share my creations with you! Not to mention that their slogan is "Where Aloha Meets Creativity." Sounds like me, doesn't it? :)

Altered word "baby"
My neighbor just had a baby girl. So I alted this Creative Imaginations Bare Elements word. I used paint, cardstock, and design paper. I glued it all in place with the UHU Twist and Glue. It is a great adhesive for altered projects. I used glue dots to keep the smaller parts of the "B's" and "A" to stay in place.

Lifted Up By Love LO
We've all been sick this past week. So I've been putting this LO together little by little as I get a chance. Payton hasn't let me out of her sight, so the layout isn't as nice as I had planned, but I'm ready to move on to a new one. As you can tell, I've got a ton of professional photos of Payton!!

Q&A
I've had these Kelly Panacci papers and stickers for some time now. They include the perfect question and answer stickers for an interview type layout. I stamped the flourishes and the journal block on a transparency and cut out for an extra accent. The little chipboard birdie was embossed by my Cuttlebug, then heat embossed with clear embossing powder and finally sprayed with walnut spray ink.
The matted "top note" was the one that I designed on my SCAL software (see the post below) and cut with my Cricut. I was able to stretch it out long so that it would fit a 12x12 layout. Plus, since it is scaleable, I was able to make a second one just a bit bigger so that it would serve as a mat. I then did some sewing on the top note to finish it off.
