Scraplamp

I have 2 scraplamps....they are special lamps that allow you to put a 12x12 layout inside them to be illuminated. I was in the midst of making this layout when I realized that all the paper piercing I did would look good in the lamp.

Shadow Box

Here's a shadow box that I made with a Making Memories kit. I still need to add some seashells as soon as I find where I put them! I tried to get a good photo of this without the glare from the glass, but this was the best I could do.

I stamped my walls!

I've been working on this project for a few weeks. I used Stampin Up's Bold Butterfly and some acrylic paint to decorate the walls of my new studio (aka craft room). It was a difficult task because the walls have a "knock down" finsh which is very rough. The phrase is a Scribblz...it's like a giant rub-on. I love it!! My studio is definitely my happy place!

Hang in there card

I made this card using Lynn's sketch. I made the flower using paste embossing. I used colored pencils to color the flower in a brass stencil, then I spread the embossing paste over it, then I poured glitter on top. Since I've been donating a lot of cards lately to Ronald McDonald House and Cards For Troops, I thought that the sentiment "hang in there" would be a good one to use.

What I've been working on...

I completed another scrapbook page, but I can't share it just yet. I am going to submit it for a magazine call and see what happens. Here is the photo that I used. I love the color accent option on my camera!!! I just learned how to use it on our Punta Cana trip, so I have a lot of fun photography to share in upcoming layouts. One of my New Year's resolutions was to submit some scrapbook pages to magazine calls. Another resolution was to try to join a design team. I'm going to do my part....we'll just have to see what the magazines and companies say! My third and most important resolution is to donate at least $1000 to the Crohn's and Colits Foundation. I plan on meeting my goal by not buying any craft items (except adhesive and page protectors) this year. So you will see me depleating my stash of craft supplies as the year goes on! Wish me luck!

I am frantically trying to get Payton's album as completed as I can by this weekend, as we will be celebrating her 3rd birthday. Last night, I filled up 3 heaping scrapbooks with this years' scrapbook pages. There had to be at least 1000 photos on those pages!!
You can't really tell in this photo, but I was able to use a snowflake stamp and iron to inprint on the velvet ribbon on the LO above.
