I WON!!! I WON!!! I WON!!!!

It's official....I am the GRAND PRIZE Winner of the Creative Imaginations Pizzazzill contest!!! WHOOOOO HOOOOOO!!! YIPPPPPEEEEE!!! I won over $1,000 in scrapbooking supplies!!! You have no idea how excited I am about this. Besides blog candy (which is wonderful) I've never won anything big before. I just can't believe it.

If you are a regular visitor to my blog, you have seen many creations of mine using Pizzazzill paper, chipboard, and punch outs. During the month of August, I submitted 21 enteries to the contest. I haven't gotten my prizes yet, but when I do, I will be offering up some BLOG CANDY so I can share some of my loot with my readers. I'm also planning a scrapbooking party for all of my friends to come and get some goodie bags and door prizes.

I'll post a photo of my goodies when they arrive....

Marie's + Tracy's Challenges

I used Marie's cool sketch and Tracy's advice to use an old stamp set. I tried for a western theme here (even though I don't have any western stamps....this was the best I could do). I used STITCHING in the bottom panel. The stamp set is from 2004.

Moralia's + Ashley's Challenges

I got this awesome sketch from Moralia's blog. And I took Ashley's advice and used an OLD stamp set. This SU set is from 2003!

Blog Candy Winners!!

I'm back from the cabin. As always, it was a lot of fun. I got a lot done, and I actually got some sleep this time too! I'll be posting photos soon!!

Thanks to everyone for submitting such AWESOME ideas for my blog candy challenge! Here are the winners:

The winner of my favorite saying is Kristina!!! She came up with my favorite 2 sayings:

"I'd have my bills paid on time if I didn't have to stamp them first!"
"There are no mistakes in stamping...only embellishment opportunities!"

The random drawing winner was: Debbie from Studiobeecreations!!

Congratulations, ladies!! Please email me your address. Let me know the following: shirt size, color of shirt (must be a light color), and what saying you want on your shirt.

I leave for the scrapbook cabin tomorrow, so while I'm gone I will have some BLOG CANDY to celebrate!! I have started a tradition that when I go to the cabin, I make scrapbooking and stamping t-shirts for my friends that are there. They love them and wear them every time we crop together. Here is a photo of us in our t-shirts:
Here's what the t-shirts say:

"I run with decorative scissors" (with picture of a girl running with scissors)

"Warning: Scrapbooking is hazardous to your wealth"

"Cardstock: $30, Photos: $20, Cabin: $100, Uninerrupted Scrapbooking: Priceless"

"Eat. Sleep. Stamp." (with a yellow sunflower)

I made some new ones for this trip: (sorry they are so daughter was crawling all over them as I tried to take the photo!)
So, this brings me to the BLOG CANDY!!! I need some new ideas of sayings to put on t-shirts. Please leave as many comments as you wish with t-shirt sayings that pertain to scrapbooking, stamping, altering, and cropping. There will be two prizes!! One prize is a random draw and the other prize will be awarded for my favorite saying. Every suggestion is an entry into the drawing. If you put a link to this on your blog, you will get 5 extra entries (make sure you let me know that you linked this.)

What's the prize?? A t-shirt of course!!! The winners will get to tell me what size, color, and saying they want on their t-shirt. I'll post the winners on Monday, Sept. 17. So tell your friends about this...who wouldn't want a t-shirt to wear while doing their favorite hobby??

MIL card

Norma had a challenge to create a card for her 90 year old MIL. I made this card because I know my 93 year old grandma would love it (she always liked bright colors.....something to do with living through the great depression).

Birthday card with bling!!

My favorite embellishment is sparkly bling! I used rhinestones, stickles (on the frosting), and glitter (on the cherry) to bling this card up.

Double challenge

I used monochromatic scraps and embellies to make this fabulous 5 card. It has 5 patterned papers, 5 stamped images, 5 buttons, 5 primas, and 5 ribbons (oh, and 5 staples too!). And there is a #5 on the card too!

Countdown to Scrapbook Cabin

One week from today I leave for my 4 day vacation to the scrapbook cabin in northern Wisconsin!!! I go every 6 months with my friends. It is always a blast and I get SOOO much done. I don't sleep much - about 3 hours a night. The rest of the time is spent scrapbooking, eating chocolate, and giggling!! I can't wait to go! So anyways, I am saving up my mojo this week, so I won't be posting too much stuff. But, stay week I'll be offering some BLOG CANDY while I'm at the cabin. Believe me, you won't want to miss it!! I'll give you a is scrapbooking/stamping related and I've never seen it offered as blog candy before!!!

Here are some photos from last year's cabin. Keep in mind that we normally don't look like this, (we haven't slept in 3 days!!)
