Christmas 2003

Tracy had a competition to do a Christmas layout. I had this Christmas photo from 2003, so I decided to scrap it. (Look at my hair - it is short because I just had donated 12" to Locks of Love. I also straightened it for the photo). I used my favorite Christmas stamp and lots of metalics. I made the photo corners on a wire jig.

Cousin Layout

This is a photo of Payton and Danielle. They are the only girl cousins with 5 boy cousins, so they share a special bond. Danielle is Payton's favorite babysitter too. I made this layout out of 3 bugs in a rug paper, stickers, and punch outs. The chipboard is from Target's $1 spot!!

Tinkerbell card

My daughter loves Tinkerbell! This card is the last of the Disney challenges.

Heart shaped candy holder

I made this with my Cricut!!

Lorie's challenge + Disney challenge

I made this Mickey Mouse card using the Divine Miss M's Disney challenge and I incorporated Lorie's challenge as well. Lorie wanted us to make a card listing 10 things we love about our hubby. Here are photos of the card and the list inside. (By the way, the ribbon on this card looks really crooked in the photo, but it isn't in real life - must just be the way it was laying when I took the photo).

Poetic Artistry challenge

This is a card I made using the sketch from Poetic Artistry.

Kimmies Challenge

This is the animal card that I made for Kimmie's challenge.
This is the "fall" card I made for Kimmie's challenge.

This is the card I made using Kimmie's sketch.

Here is the card I made with lots of embellishements for Kimmie's challenge. It may not look like a lot of embellishments to you, but it is a lot for me!

Card holder

This card holder was also created from a template in Paper Crafts magazine. I used some blingy ribbon that I got at a garage sale!!

Mini Purse

I created this purse from a pattern in Paper Crafts magazine.

Sunset

The sunset in Mexico - a linear LO.

Chipboard book

This is my first chipboard book! I used the instructions on Splitcoast Stampers. I made the butterfly at a stamp show this winter. You melt the fibers with an iron and while they are hot, you stamp the image. You then get an embossed and inked image. It's really cool.

Sidewalk Chalk

I used the new Q and Co. velvet ribbon on this one! Also used a huge chipboard tag from Creative Imaginations.

Gift Bag Topper

I got the template for this gift bag topper from that SU "Gifts and Giving" book that I got (remember the one I said that I think I was the only one that got it?) Anyways, I was able to hang some charms from the eyelet holes, which I thought was fun.

Wedding Card

Jason asked me to make a wedding card for everyone in his department to sign for his co-worker that is getting married this weekend. I should have pulled the ol' "well, first I need to go to the scrapbook store and get a few supplies" trick like Beth was saying over at her blog! Anyways, I used the sketch over at Deanne's blog to help me figure out what to do with this card.

Gift Bag

I got the pattern for this bag out of an old Paper Crafts magazine. Love it!

Marie's sketch + my fav. stamp set

I used Delight in Life, my favorite stamp set, in Marie's sketch challenge.

Cylindar box

I got the pattern for this cylindar box from the retired SU "Gifts and Giving" book. I do believe I was the only person to ever buy this book! I thought there would be a lot of patterns in it, but turns out there are only about 4 patterns!

Daddy's Girl

Jason found this poem and wanted me to incorporate it into a father/daughter page. I liked the paper because it was masculine, yet fun.

A no layer card

The challenge was to make a no layer card. That's really hard! So I decided to make the Mickey Mouse theme the focus. I used some punches because I'm on a kick to use the things that I never use anymore!

Progressive Scrapbook Page

Lauren had a wonderful idea to start with a 6x6 layout and then incorporate it onto a 12x12 layout. So here is mine.... don't you just love the crown on Belle? In case you are wondering, she does actually own a real crown, but that's another story for another scrapbook page!
