Christmas 2003

Tracy had a competition to do a Christmas layout. I had this Christmas photo from 2003, so I decided to scrap it. (Look at my hair - it is short because I just had donated 12" to Locks of Love. I also straightened it for the photo). I used my favorite Christmas stamp and lots of metalics. I made the photo corners on a wire jig.

Cousin Layout

This is a photo of Payton and Danielle. They are the only girl cousins with 5 boy cousins, so they share a special bond. Danielle is Payton's favorite babysitter too. I made this layout out of 3 bugs in a rug paper, stickers, and punch outs. The chipboard is from Target's $1 spot!!

I made this Mickey Mouse card using the Divine Miss M's Disney challenge and I incorporated Lorie's challenge as well. Lorie wanted us to make a card listing 10 things we love about our hubby. Here are photos of the card and the list inside. (By the way, the ribbon on this card looks really crooked in the photo, but it isn't in real life - must just be the way it was laying when I took the photo).

Chipboard book

This is my first chipboard book! I used the instructions on Splitcoast Stampers. I made the butterfly at a stamp show this winter. You melt the fibers with an iron and while they are hot, you stamp the image. You then get an embossed and inked image. It's really cool.

Sidewalk Chalk

I used the new Q and Co. velvet ribbon on this one! Also used a huge chipboard tag from Creative Imaginations.

Wedding Card

Jason asked me to make a wedding card for everyone in his department to sign for his co-worker that is getting married this weekend. I should have pulled the ol' "well, first I need to go to the scrapbook store and get a few supplies" trick like Beth was saying over at her blog! Anyways, I used the sketch over at Deanne's blog to help me figure out what to do with this card.

The challenge was to make a no layer card. That's really hard! So I decided to make the Mickey Mouse theme the focus. I used some punches because I'm on a kick to use the things that I never use anymore!
