I donated my hair to Locks of Love for the second time today. My hair is so thick that I was able to donate 4 ponytails today....it takes 6 ponytails to make a wig. Here are some photos which I'm sure will end up in a scrapbook layout!!
It such a wonderful thing to do. You should feel so proud that you'll be making another person so happy to get your hair!
Both my daughters have donated their hair, as well. Alexandria donated 12 inches when she was only 5 years old and Natalia just donated 10 inches a month ago and she's nearly 4 years old. I guess they have that fast growing hair, too...wish I inherited that gene! lol :)
Oops, I just looked up my blog post from when Natalia got her haircut and I see that it was 17 inches and 12 inches that they donated! I guess my memory isn't very good! lol :)
OMG! Wow, how awesome is that? And, you are! How long does it take you to grow it that long? My hair is about the same length and it has taken 3 years to get it this long without being cut since my hustband was out of work for 2 1/2 years, I gave up my haircuts every 8 weeks.
